Privacy policy

Our commitments around personal data, payment information, location, and how partner technicians access only what they need to deliver service.

1. Who we are

Yantra4All is the brand operated by MAK LEDER PRIVATE LIMITED(CIN: U74900DL2015PTC288114, GSTIN: 07AAKCM0449E1ZL), an Indian company with its registered office at Plot 36-A, KH No. 181, Dindapur Extn. Road, Phase-1, Shyam Vihar, Najafgarh, West Delhi – 110043. In this policy “Yantra4All”, “we”, “us” refers to MAK LEDER PRIVATE LIMITED, which is the data fiduciary for personal data you share with us through the website, mobile experiences, WhatsApp, SMS and voice-call channels, and our customer-support team.

2. What we collect

  • Account data — phone number, email (optional), full name, profile picture (optional). Phone is verified by OTP.
  • Service data — service address, pincode, appliance details (brand, model, serial number, warranty dates), saved bookings, complaints and ratings.
  • Payment data — we do not store card or UPI credentials. Razorpay (our PCI-DSS-compliant gateway) processes payments and shares only a transaction reference, status, and the last four digits of the instrument.
  • Device + log data — IP address, device type, browser, pages visited, referrer, and Core Web Vitals samples. Used to keep the service secure and fast.
  • Location — only when you grant permission, we use coarse geolocation to suggest a serviceable pincode. You can decline; the manual pincode field works equally well.

3. How we use it

  • To deliver the service you booked, including dispatching a technician to your address.
  • To issue a GST-compliant invoice and process payment / refund.
  • To send transactional alerts (booking confirmation, ETA, completion, AMC renewal) by SMS / WhatsApp / email.
  • To improve the platform — debugging, fraud detection, performance optimisation.
  • With your separate consent, to send marketing or seasonal-reminder messages.

4. Lawful basis (DPDP Act 2023)

We process your data on the basis of consent for marketing and analytics, and on the basis of legitimate use for fulfilling a service you requested, complying with tax / regulatory law, and detecting fraud. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting service already delivered.

5. Sharing

  • Service partners (franchisees, technicians) — we share only the booking-specific subset (your name, phone, address, appliance, scheduled slot) required to complete your job. Technicians do not see your full booking history.
  • Payment, communications, and infrastructure providers — Razorpay, Twilio / Gupshup (WhatsApp), AWS / Google Cloud (hosting), Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity. Each operates under a data-processing agreement.
  • Government / regulators — only when compelled by valid legal process.

We never sell personal data.

6. Retention

Booking, invoice, and tax records are retained for at least 8 years per the GST Act and Companies Act. Account profile and analytics data are retained for as long as your account is active, plus 90 days after deletion to settle any pending claims.

7. Your rights

You can at any time:

  • Access a copy of personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data via your account profile.
  • Erase your account (deletes profile + addresses; transactional records retained per §6).
  • Withdraw analytics / marketing consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India.

Email customer.service@yantra4all.com with the request; we respond within 30 days.

8. Children

Yantra4All is not directed at users below 18. If we discover an under-age account, we delete it and, where applicable, notify the parent or guardian.

9. Cookies

We use cookies for login, cart, and (with consent) analytics. The full list and duration of every cookie is at our Cookie Policy. You can update your choice at any time from the consent banner or by clearing the y4a_consent cookie.

10. Grievance officer

As required under the IT Rules, 2021 and the DPDP Act, 2023, the appointed Data Protection Officer / Grievance Officer is reachable at customer.service@yantra4all.com. We acknowledge every complaint within 24 hours and resolve within 15 days.

11. Changes to this policy

Material changes will be notified via the consent banner and a 14-day in-product notice. Continued use of the service after the notice period constitutes acceptance.
