1. One-time service bookings
The applicable cancellation tier is shown on every service detail page and on your booking confirmation.
- More than 4 hours before the slot: free cancellation. Full amount refunded to source within 5–7 working days.
- Within 4 hours of the slot, before technician dispatch: a flat cancellation fee of ₹49 (or as shown on the service card) applies. Balance refunded.
- After technician has been dispatched but before arrival: a visit charge equal to one-way travel cost (typically ₹149) is retained. Balance refunded.
- After technician has arrived: the visit charge is non-refundable. If you choose to abandon the service, the service charge is refunded.
- If we cannot deliver the service (technician no-show, part unavailable, weather, force majeure): full refund.
2. Reschedules
You can reschedule a booking up to 1 hour before the slot, free of charge, subject to franchise capacity in the chosen window. Late reschedules (within 1 hour) may be treated as a cancellation under §1.
3. AMC & subscription plans
- AMC plans are refundable on a pro-rata basis within 30 days of purchase, less the cost of any visits already used.
- After 30 days, AMC plans are non-refundable but may be paused once for up to 60 days.
- On cancellation, unused visits are forfeited; future renewals are turned off automatically.
4. Spare parts & product orders
- Spare parts replaced under warranty are non-returnable once installed (per the manufacturer's policy).
- Customer-purchased products (e.g. RO purifiers) follow a 7-day return-on-defect policy. Cosmetic damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery for it to qualify.
5. Service-warranty claims
Most repairs carry a 30-day workmanship warranty. If the same issue recurs within the warranty window, raise a complaint from your account; we will dispatch a free re-visit. Re-visits are not eligible for a cash refund.
6. How refunds are processed
- Refunds are credited to the original payment method via Razorpay.
- Typical timelines: UPI 1–3 days · Cards 5–7 days · Net banking 3–5 days.
- Wallet credit, where chosen, is instant and reusable on any future booking.
- You will receive an SMS / email when the refund is initiated and again when it lands.
7. Disputes
If you disagree with a refund decision, raise a complaint from your account within 7 days. Our customer-care team responds within 24 working hours. Unresolved cases may be escalated to customer.service@yantra4all.com.
