Frequently asked questions
Why does my geyser take longer to heat than before?
Almost always scale. Hard water coats the heating element in calcium, which insulates it — so it burns more electricity to heat the same water. A descale service restores heating speed and typically cuts the geyser's power draw noticeably.
What is an anode rod and why does it matter?
It's a sacrificial magnesium rod inside the tank that corrodes instead of the tank walls. Once it's spent — usually every 2–3 years in hard-water areas — the tank itself starts rusting, which is why geysers fail early. Replacing it is cheap; a new tank is not.
Do you install geysers in bathrooms with old wiring?
Yes, and the technician checks the circuit first. A 15A+ point with proper earthing and its own MCB is required for storage geysers — if your wiring can't take the load safely, we tell you before installing, not after an accident.
Which geyser size do I need?
For a bucket bath, 10–15L storage works for 2–3 people; for showers, 25L is safer. Instant geysers (1–3L) suit kitchens and quick hand-wash points. Share your family size at booking and the technician will confirm the right fit on-site.
