My frost-free fridge cooled fine, then faded over a week. What's happening?
Textbook defrost-system failure — frost is building on the hidden coils until air can't pass. The fix is replacing whichever link failed (heater, bimetal fuse, timer, or sensor) after a proper diagnosis, not just melting the ice and hoping.
Why does the fridge section feel warm while the freezer works?
The damper that admits cold air to the fridge section may be stuck, the fan may have failed, or iced coils are choking airflow. All three show different symptoms to a trained eye — one diagnosis visit pinpoints it and quotes the fix.
Water pools under the vegetable tray. Serious?
No — it's a blocked defrost drain. Melt-water from the auto-defrost cycle can't reach the evaporation tray, so it pools inside. Clearing the drain line is a quick job and part of our comprehensive fridge service.
