Why won't my front loader's door open after the cycle?
The door lock stays engaged if water remains in the drum — usually a drain problem (clogged filter or pump), or the interlock itself has failed. Emergency-release gets your clothes out; the visit diagnoses which part needs work and quotes it upfront.
Do front load machines really need descaling in India?
Yes, more than any other type — they heat water internally, so the heater scales like a geyser element. A drum descale every 4–6 months in hard-water areas protects the heater, kills odour, and keeps wash temperatures accurate.
My front loader walks across the floor during spin. Fix?
If newly installed: transit bolts still fitted or feet unlevelled — a ten-minute correction. If it's developed over time: worn shock absorbers or drum bearings. Bearings announce themselves with a jet-engine spin sound; repair early, before the drum spider damages the tub.
