Frequently asked questions
TV has sound but the screen is black. Dead panel?
Almost never — shine a torch at the screen; if you can faintly see the picture, the backlight strips have failed, not the panel. Strip replacement is one of the most cost-effective TV repairs there is, quoted upfront before we open the set.
What's included in TV wall mounting?
A bracket rated for your TV's size and weight (fixed, tilt, or full-motion as chosen), drilling into stud/solid masonry with proper anchors, level alignment at viewing height agreed with you, cable dressing, and a final picture check.
My TV won't turn on — just a blinking standby light. What is it?
Blink patterns are the TV telling you which rail failed — usually the power supply board, sometimes the mainboard. Both are standard board-level repairs. Share the blink count and model at booking; it helps the technician arrive with the right board.
